Notary lawyer office: Simple
Law Office (affiliated with all embassies in Seoul)
Preparation: When notarizing a translation, the original or a
stamped copy of the document to be notarized is required.
You must send the same number of copies. (No stamping required).
Notarization Procedure
01 the Meaning of Notarization
Notarization is a system that certifies facts in order to preserve evidence of important transactions and
facilitate the exercise of the rights of the right holder. By using this, it can be used to prevent various transactions or
disputes that occur in everyday life or to be used as strong evidence in the event of a dispute.
You can also easily exercise your rights without going through a trial process.
02 Notary Public
Notarization can be done at a joint law office or law firm that has received notarization approval, or at the office of an appointed notary public, and in areas where there are
no places like the above, it can be notarized at a branch office of the District Prosecutors' Office.
03 the Need for Notarization
Securing strong evidence and preventing disputes in advance Notarized
documents have strong evidentiary power in civil or criminal trials, so they are
not only advantageous in resolving disputes when they occur, but also have the
effect of preventing disputes from occurring when notarized. Certain money,
substitutes, If you prepare a notarized deed for a legal act for the purpose of
paying securities, if payment is not made, it is convenient because you can
obtain an execution letter from the notary office that created the notarized deed
and carry out immediate compulsory execution without going through
complicated and cumbersome court procedures.
04 Types of Notarization
Preparation of a notarial deed refers to a notary public confirming the intention of the
parties and directly preparing documents related thereto. As described above, when a
notarized deed is prepared in relation to a legal act for the purpose of payment of a
certain amount of money, etc., compulsory execution is accepted. If you write down
the text, you can enforce it right away if payment is not made as agreed.
05 Authentication of a Private Document
This means that a notary public confirms that the signature and seal on a document
prepared by a party was of the person's will and records that fact. In the case of
certification, it only has the effect of having strong evidentiary power and does not
have the effect of enabling easy compulsory execution as in the case of preparing a
public deed.
06 Certification of Articles of Incorporation and Minutes
According to the provisions of the Commercial Act, certain corporations, such as stock
companies, must have their articles of incorporation certified and the minutes required for the
corporate registration process also certified. This is a special form of certificate
authentication where a notary public confirms that the articles of incorporation or minutes
were prepared through legal procedures and that their contents are true.
07 The Date of Confirmation
A notary stamps a date on a document prepared by a party to prove that the document
existed on that day. In the case of a housing lease, when the tenant who moves in completes
resident registration and receives a confirmed date in the rental contract, from then on, he or
she will have the same opposing power as if he or she was registered, and will be able to
receive preferential repayment of the rental deposit after the fact. This confirmed date can be
obtained not only from a general notary office, but also from a court.
08 Things to prepare for Notarization
The person going to request notarization must bring an identification card or seal
issued by a government office with a photo attached to it, such as a resident
registration card or driver's license, and a seal issued by a government office to verify
identity. (If a corporation is the client, the representative's corporate seal certificate
and a certified copy of the corporate register are required. If notarization is done by an
agent, in addition to the agent's identification card and seal, the principal's seal
certificate (within 6 months from the date of issuance) and a power of attorney must
be brought. In the case of will notarization, two witnesses are required, so the person
who will make the will and the witness must go to the notary office together. In this
case, certain people cannot be witnesses, so it is best to inquire at the notary office in
advance and find out before going to the notary office.
Service Contents
"Video translation" is a service that requires four abilities: [listening], [language skills], [expression skills], and [expert knowledge]. In other words, it can be said that it is a comprehensive element of language such as listening, dictation, understanding, and expression, and media technology to translate and convert a specific subject into another language.
While conventional document translation can be [performed alone], modern translation requires not only simple translation technology, but also various software technologies due to the diversity of technologies used in the transmission medium. Among these, video translation in particular is a field that cannot be performed independently by a translator alone or a freelancer because it includes all three elements of language + human + media.
If you need to convert and translate materials stored on existing media such as VHS, VCR, etc. into WAV, media for various media players, or Internet streaming videos, we provide comprehensive services such as editing, encoding, MA, etc., including narration (voice dubbing) or subtitles in foreign languages. The globalization of existing broadcast media such as dramas, games, and documentaries transmitted through broadcast media.
Recently, in accordance with the localization strategies of domestic and foreign multinational companies, the use of video materials in various fields, from manuals and presentation materials in the fields of information and communication, software, electronics, automobiles, machinery, and bio, to corporate promotional materials, business reports, annual reports, pamphlets, exhibition materials, and operation manuals for advanced devices, maintenance manuals containing field footage, production processes, and various field reports, has brought about a more impressive effect in delivering messages.
As video media production becomes more diverse and specialized due to technological advancements, the role of humans has become more important than the existing machine and technology-centered one. Accordingly, video translation services have also become more affordable and high-quality services for clients through translation companies with diverse human resources, companies with language technology, or a combination of both, rather than existing editing-centered production companies.
